Who I Am
I know what it feels like to struggle with money — to make mistakes, lose ground, and wonder if you’ll ever get ahead. I’ve been there.
But I also know what it feels like to rebuild, to make steady progress, and to reach a place of peace and financial freedom.
I started with a negative net worth and worked my way to seven figures through discipline, focus, and smart decisions. Along the way, I discovered that wealth isn’t about luck or high income — it’s about management, mindset, and consistency.
Today, I’m known as Smart Money Bro® — a teacher, mentor, and creator who helps everyday people take control of their money and build wealth with intention.
Through my YouTube channel, I’ve built a community of more than 600,000 subscribers and 40 million+ views, sharing practical lessons on budgeting, debt freedom, investing, and real wealth-building.
But beyond the numbers, I’m a husband, father, grandfather, and believer who cares deeply about legacy — about helping people make choices today that change their families tomorrow.
My story isn’t about perfection.

I started my career as a teacher, spent nearly two decades managing federal contracts, and have invested in real estate for more than 25 years. I even built a successful eBay store with over $100K in sales and 100% positive feedback — because I’ve always believed in learning, experimenting, and finding new ways to grow.
Beyond money and work, I’m a lifelong learner and creator — a writer, voice-over artist, health enthusiast, and weekend genealogist who values discipline, patience, and purpose in every area of life.
